Met the host, who gave us good tips. We've had holiday home with comfy bed, the bedroom, for instance. A microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge were useful, cooked breakfast ourselves. Location was great and good, so close to local attractions, the coast and St Andrews, or the coast, Falkland Palace. Plus it was located near a railway line.

The location was perfect! So peaceful and quiet, exactly what I was looking for. Sitting in the hot tub with just the sounds of tweeting birds was absolute bliss! the decor of the place was beautiful and quirky, giving it a cozy and homely feel. the kitchen area was well-equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Meeting the owner and her adorable dogs was the icing on the cake! the proximity to St Andrews for lunch and shopping was a major advantage.
Perhaps a bit more of a walking guide would have been helpful. On our second day, we got a bit lost and ended up walking more on the road than in the countryside.

The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The scenery around was absolutely breathtaking with plenty of beautiful places to walk and explore. We also enjoyed visiting the historic sites nearby. Despite our stay being cut short, we had a peaceful and quiet experience, especially while relaxing in the hot tub, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature. The cottage itself was cozy and beautifully decorated, with a well-equipped kitchen and all the amenities we needed. Meeting Kate and her adorable dogs was a delightful bonus. The location was ideal for a trip to St Andrews and offered a truly relaxing experience. We highly recommend this lovely and romantic getaway.
